Who We Are.

Hope Haus is a boutique, invite-only property management company, specializing in studio & short-term rentals. We’re a husband and wife team that bring our corporate and creative experience to the hospitality space. We believe that each property is its own hospitality business and we strive to be good stewards and faithfully manage what is entrusted to us.

How We Work.

All of our spaces (over 10 now) are within 1 hour of the twin cities metro area. You can find links to them all on our website.

We like to think of ourselves as a hybrid hospitality and tech company. We leverage technology as much as we can to make everyones lives easier and standardize our processes and procedures.

Slack

The app we use for all communication is Slack. We will invite you to our Hope Haus Slack workspace and chat with you in a channel there. It’s like a group chat that isn’t in your text messages. We like to keep work and personal messaging separate so we use Slack to help us do that.

Turno

The core app that we use to manage our calendars, checklists, inventory and payments is Turno. This app facilitates all of the operations for each property we manage. We will send you an invite to onboard you into the app.

Scheduling

Using Turno’s calendar syncing feature, when a booking comes in at any of our properties, Turno sees that and creates a “Project” and makes it available for any cleaner assigned to a certain property. We have a primary cleaner role and a secondary cleaner role. Primary cleaners get the first opportunity to accept the project opportunity. If you are not available, you can reject it and it becomes available to the secondary cleaners associated with the property. It’s an opt-in, flexible opportunity folks can take on as they have capacity.

Cleaning Window

Our standard turnover window is 11am-4pm. Cleans are scheduled to be completed during this window unless otherwise agreed to. There are “Same-Day Turnovers” in which a guest checks out before 11am and another guest arrives after 4pm that same-day. This is indicated (or not) within the Turno app.

Inventory

We track Inventory of our consumables (shampoo, hand soap, etc) at each of our properties. Before completing a project in the app, we ask that you complete an inventory report indicating our supply levels for an individual item (this could be high, medium, low or a specific count). When an item is marked below a certain threshold (low for example), then we receive a notification that we need more and can make an order and restock before the next turnover.

Checklists
